About my journey
I grew up in the Twin Cities, in a big, boisterous, musical family. Everyone sang - all the time - and I studied piano and violin throughout childhood. I majored in History at Princeton University, and I have a law degree from the University of Minnesota, but music has always been my avocation.
I've been extraordinarily lucky my whole life, in countless ways. But nothing compares to the luck I've had in meeting my wife and raising our three wonderful daughters.
